By using NumeriDuel you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short — nothing here is hidden payment or surprise data usage.
1. The service
NumeriDuel is a free, browser-based puzzle site operated for entertainment and practice. It is provided "as is": we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, add, or retire individual games at any time.
2. Free to play
Everything currently published is free. There is no subscription, no premium tier, and no advertising inside the puzzles.
3. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use automated scripts to flood multiplayer rooms, distort leaderboards, or scrape the site aggressively;
- attempt to break into, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
- post abusive, hateful, or illegal content in nicknames or shared rooms;
- frame or resell the site's content as your own product.
We may rate-limit or block access when any of this happens.
4. Nicknames and leaderboards
Nicknames are public to other players in leaderboards and match rooms. Choose one that you are comfortable having visible, and note that we may hide or reset offensive entries without notice.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of anything you create (such as a nickname). By publishing it in a public area, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it there as part of running the service.
6. Intellectual property
The site design, layout, and code belong to us. Individual puzzle mechanics like Sudoku or the 24 Game are long-standing public games; we claim no monopoly over playing or discussing them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, including lost local progress or streaks after clearing browser data.
8. Changes
Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Significant changes are noted with a new "last updated" date.
